Embark on a musical voyage and experience a romantic musical cruise on the Douro, combining the scenic beauty of Portugal's "golden river" with the poetic and expressive fluidity of music. On this voyage to the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site, the artists on your cruise : pianists Frédéric Vaysse Knitter and Paul Beynet , cellist Olivia Gay, mezzo soprano Maria Mirante and myself on violin, will offer you a rich program of concerts on board and ashore, in venues specially privatized for you, where you will savor the most beautiful pages of Chopin, Fauré, Schubert, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven,Handel ... while pianist composer and improviser Thierry Maillard will invite you to follow him in his personal musical universe. You'll discover the charms of the city of Porto and its wines, Guimarães, considered the cradle of the Portuguese nation, and the many unique artistic treasures of northern Portugal. And, if you feel like it, you can discover the proud Spanish city of Salamanca.

Program
A small, warm and friendly boat (66 cabins). All cabins offer panoramic views of the outside. A magnificent panoramic saloon is located forward. A large sun deck with armchairs and deckchairs
Departure from Paris to Porto

Porto / Peso da Régal & Concert
- At lunchtime, your ship will cast off and begin its journey up the Douro towards Peso da Régua
- During this afternoon of sailing, you can take advantage of the lounge or sun deck to admire the surrounding scenery
- In the evening, we invite you to a concert in the salon
Pesa da Régua / Pinhao / Vega Terron (Spain) and Concert
- Your boat will leave Peso da Régua in the early morning
- Optional excursion
- You'll enjoy an afternoon of sailing, during which you can meet the musicians at an autograph session, before arriving at Vega Terrón
- After dinner, you can enjoy a concert by the talented musicians accompanying you in the boat's salon
Vega Terron ( Spain) / Barca d'Alva ( Portugal) & Concert
- This is the only Spanish stopover on your trip, allowing you to discover Salamanca (optional)
- After dinner, you will be invited to a concert in the salon
Barca d'Alva / Ferradosa / Pinhao
- Early in the day, you will leave Barca d'Alva
- After lunch, your boat arrives in Ferradosa. Nestling in the folds of a pastoral and bucolic landscape, this small town is sure to charm you with its picturesque and charming narrow streets (optional visit)
Pinahao / Porto & Concert
- The boat will leave Pinhão
- Possibility of optional excursion to Lamego
- You'll enjoy an afternoon sailing to Porto, during which you can chat with the musicians at an autograph session
- In the evening, we offer a final concert on board
Porto & Concert
- During this day in Porto, you can take part in an optional excursion
- Back on board, you'll have dinner before heading to an iconic music venue in the heart of Porto
- In this private setting, you'll attend the last concert of your trip
Porto / Paris
- After disembarking, you will be transferred to Porto airport for your flight home
