Discover opera in New York

The Big Apple, one of the most famous cities in the world, is the perfect destination for any music lover! The Met in New York is the meeting place for opera stars...

What to do in New York?

One of the first things that catches the eye is the architecture. Skyscrapers tower over Manhattan. Who hasn't seen the Empire State Building, with its art-deco architecture dating from 1931, and who hasn't seen the Chrysler Building, even if only in photographs? Walking around New York's different districts is a must! Between Manhattan, the Bronx and Harlem, you won't feel like you're in the same city! Take a trip to Central Park, the city's largest park, and enjoy some of the best hot dogs the city has to offer!
Times Square is a must-see by day and night: the night-time lights are incomparable! If you fancy a musical, look no further than Broadway!
For art lovers, visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of Modern Art! The American Museum of Natural History is also worth a visit: it's one of the most famous museums in the world!

New York and music

And for you music lovers, don't miss Carnegie Hall or the Metropolitan Opera. Book your New York opera or concert tickets in advance.

Carnegie Hall was inaugurated in 1891, although work was not completed until 1897. Carnegie Hall consists of three auditoriums: the Isaac Stern Auditorium, the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall and the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Recital Hall. The exterior architecture is inspired by the Italian Renaissance, while the gold and white interior follows the sober style. Many celebrities have given concerts here! In 1976, the concert conducted by Leonard Bernstein brought together Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Vladimir Horowitz, Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovitch, Isaac Stern and the New York Philharmonic!

The Met Opera is located at Lincoln Center and was inaugurated in 1966. It can seat 4,000 spectators. Every year, the Met presents almost 300 operas and more than 30 world premieres! Since 2006, the Met has been broadcasting live performances around the world in various cinemas to make opera accessible to everyone. An innovative concept!

New York is waiting for you! Book your opera or concert tickets for Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera or the New York Philharmonic Orchestra concerts at Lincoln Center for an unforgettable evening...
