Planning de la tournée de l'artiste Juan Diego Flórez

Juan Diego Flórez

Juan Diego Flórez has a voice that is rarely found over the course of a century. The light tenor has an agility which naturally predisposes him to operas by Rossini and Donizetti.

For the past few seasons, he has been moving towards more lyrical roles to expand his repertoire (the French repertoire like Werther or Romeo but also Gluck's Orpheus) but he always comes back to Rossini where he is incomparable. Juan Diego Flórez has already entered the legend of La Scala in Milan by putting on the famous air with the nine counter-utes « Ah ! mes Amis, quel jour de fête ! » (Ah! my friends, what a festive day!) From La Fille du Régiment by Donizetti. He repeated this triumph at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at the Bastille Opera in front of a stunned audience. The tenor sings with an ease that completely makes one forget about the technical difficulties. Even if his art expresses itself perfectly in the delicate exercise of reciting melodies, it is above all on the stage of the opera that he offers the best. Like a gift from heaven, Juan Diego Flórez is an incarnation of beautiful song.
