"Madam, we would like to thank you once again for the good fortune you have bestowed upon us by helping us to stay in Aix-en-Provence from 17 to 20 July 2023, and above all by providing us with excellent seats for three performances of the Festival d'Art Lyrique. We admit that we were worried when we discovered that the first four rows in the hall of the Grand Théâtre de Provence had been cancelled for the performance of Otello, to which, as you know, we attached particular importance due to the quality of the artists involved. Added to this was the cancellation of the great tenor Jonas Kaufmann (which Musique & Opéra only informed us of on the same day). Indeed, the performance was masterful and our placement exceptional. Many thanks for that. Our satisfaction with the other two operas is lower in terms of aesthetics, but the seats were just as excellent. They are also not responsible for the extreme heat we were exposed to. As for the hotel, we again appreciated its comfort, but its management seems to have a strange relationship with Music & Opera: The day before our arrival, we were asked by phone to confirm our arrival by providing a credit card number; we refused, of course. In addition, unlike last year, we were charged for the use of the private car park. These details did not prevent us from describing our stay as very successful. We would like to thank you again."

"This is how we felt about our trip to Brussels, where we had a very pleasant time: the taxi was good at the meeting point, the hotel was perfect, the room was comfortable, welcoming, clean, the staff were perfect and very available... The concert by Les Lauréats was of great quality, superbly placed...The guided tour of Brussels was very interesting, a perfect guide, a well of science, our guide was a historian. The performance of Les Huguenots, ideal location, Py's staging a little questionable...but a very interesting opera, perfect voices... The Chapelle musicale, ideal moment, good welcome, good meal, perfect concert. We took advantage of our evening to return to the Palais des Beaux Arts to listen to the 1,2 and 3 first prize-winners under the presidency of the King and Queen... For the return journey, a little problem with the taxi which was not at the scheduled time, but thanks to the receptionist and Valèrie's diligence we were able to postpone our return by a day. ...which enabled us to visit the Magritte Museum on Saturday morning... A word of advice: you need to allow an hour between leaving the hotel and catching the train as Brussels is a very congested city, with roadworks everywhere... As for the station, getting to the platform is a bit of an obstacle course...In conclusion, despite this little incident, we had a great time with the music, not forgetting an extra visit to the museum of musical instruments. I would recommend it to you."

"We enjoyed Norma, although the Spanish soprano Saioa Hernández was replaced by someone who did a reasonable job under a very pleasant conductor. The following day's concert was fabulous, with a 22-year-old violin virtuoso whom we should follow very closely, Daniel Lozakovich. A very nice tour of the Port guided by Denise. She is very well informed and we appreciated her many explanations. Finally, the hotel was very good and well located. MARTINA FRANCA - ITALY

"Perfect service, flexible, adapted well to my situation - departure from Switzerland, change of programme at the end of my stay in particular. I really appreciated it. I was 100 per cent satisfied with the services offered. Hugues was very present, and his talks prepared us well for the evenings at the festival. He also gave us the benefit of his musical network. The aperitif with Raffaele Peet was much appreciated. This is a quality festival and the choice of the three shows on offer was good. "At the airport, the driver was waiting for us to take us to the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in an impeccable limousine. The hotel is excellently located and it only took us a 5-minute walk to get to the Bayerische Staatsoper. Very nice ***** well maintained hotel where, as desired, we enjoyed a Deluxe Junior Suite of about 50 m2 at the end of the hall and away from the elevators; quiet well appreciated and impeccable service; small caveat: the closing of the doors very noisy; fortunately there is a double door in the room! Breakfast offers an incredible choice for all tastes with even champagne (French, pleonasm, of course). Flawless concierge. In short, an excellent choice and magnificent services. The operas and recitals were of an exceptional standard, with "Der Rosen Kavalier" and "La Bohême" in the spotlight, both of which were breathtaking in every respect: conductor, orchestra, direction and sets. With an audience that has been highly appreciated and. . . manifested. As for the guide, Mr. Yves Vatin-Pérignon, he also deserves an "excellent" mention both for the quality of his comments and for his extensive knowledge in many areas. We had a lot of pleasure following him through the selected museums and, personally, on the additional visit we requested of him to the BMW Centre and the Olympic Park. In short, an exceptional week for which we extend our warm thanks and congratulations. And that encourages us to continue along this path for other operas or concerts. As we reiterate our heartfelt thanks to you, dear Madam, we send you our most cordial messages. "

Everything was perfectly organized by M&O to make my stay very pleasant, from the hotel, well located in the city center and very comfortable, to my flight from Brussels to Naples with private transfer between the airport and the hotel, and above all the evening at the Teatro San Carlo where I had a very good seat and which was a delight for all music lovers. The guide who took me around the center of Naples on Tuesday, and the one who accompanied me to Pompeii and Vesuvius on Wednesday, knew their subject very well, and I thoroughly enjoyed their guided tours.

SEJOUR AU FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE PIANO LA ROQUE D'ANTHERON - FRANCE

"Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Firstly, the concerts were excellent. Seating was correct, with the exception of the 5 p.m. concerts for which all numbering had been removed, and obviously the organisers were overwhelmed. (Please pass on our dissatisfaction). Admittedly, the morning concerts, in full sun, did not offer the best listening conditions, but that was undoubtedly better than the rain. The hotel was pleasant and the restaurant ("le Bocage") was a very good restaurant (you were right to book the two dinners here). We didn't quite understand how to use the "assistant", but we didn't need it anyway. We would like to thank you for allowing us to enjoy these moments of sometimes sublime music. This experience leads us to consider the possibility of using your services again; if this is the case, we will be more cautious about the seats, which have fluctuated over time, without ever improving; but it is true that the year was, hopefully, exceptional".

"The trip went well, although the water taxi dropped us off some distance from the hotel, on the Grand Canal, instead of going down the canal to the hotel quay - and with the most basic instructions on how to find the hotel (thank goodness for Google maps!). And of course, carrying heavy bags up and down steps on the bridges was a big inconvenience! But we soon forgot all about that when we discovered the Splendid hotel and its wonderful atmosphere! The opera La Traviata at Palazzo Barbarigo was absolutely magnificent. So beautiful and so accomplished. How they did it with only three musicians. With the singers mingling with the audience, it was so intimate that you felt like you were part of the story. Absolutely exquisite! Similarly, the opera Scala di Seta at Teatro La Fenice was wonderful - even if it was a bit short and there was no interval to enjoy the opera facilities. In retrospect, we probably should have seen this opera before the unique show at the Palazzo! Indeed, it was great fun and well produced, but a little overtaken by the previous evening. Both tours were intriguing, thank you, and the guide managed to get us away from the main tourist areas which were still incredibly busy... The Splendid Hotel made sure the water taxi picked us up from the hotline on the way back.... But it was a wonderful pleasure for us... Venice was absolutely magnificent, as always, even if it was still a little crowded around St Mark's... and we were very lucky with the weather, which was very fine.

"A pleasant stay at the Hotel Quaranta, especially in terms of the areas dedicated to sporting activities ... although it was very busy, with families from the surrounding area coming to spend the day around the very large swimming pool, which made it difficult to swim lengths. The staff were very welcoming in all areas (reception, restaurants, spa). The room, although spacious, was dark and decorated in a dated, even depressing style; the bathroom has a large Jacuzzi (not used) but a very basic standard shower. In short, the interiors were kitsch while the exteriors were modern. The quality of the evening at the arena was very high and our seat was in the 1st row, as requested. The driver was very punctual and kind. Guided tour of Verona the next day with guide Romana, a very engaging person who showed us the historical remains of the city centre in great detail and with infectious enthusiasm. As we wandered around, she told us about the layout of the city at the time of its foundation, and we wondered about the etymology of two Latin terms, the explanation of which I enclose: could you pass it on to Romana and once again express our gratitude to her for the quality of her talks? We would be delighted to repeat this type of trip, combining musical performances and cultural visits, and will naturally be interested to hear your future proposals. Thank you for the quality of your contributions and the organisation of our trip.

"Everything went very well despite the persistent 39° even at night (30° at midnight). The hotel was up to scratch and ...long live air conditioning. Our guide in Verona was great and knew his stuff, and there were only two of us, which was really nice. The shows were up to scratch, with one downside: the staging of Nabucco (NASI, pistols, colours in military greens and browns, German caps from that era to be forgotten, ... all moving under Greek statues. Not in the best taste but the voices were beautiful, that's the main thing. A magnificent Cavaleria rusticana and Paglicci, where the staging is certainly the best I have seen to date. As for Kaufmann, always himself, he filled the arena to capacity and performed his third half, which lasted as long as half the show: we left at around 1am. In short, it was a very positive event that we'd be happy to repeat. Many thanks for your efficient organisation."

"I was introduced to Music & Opera via the internet for a classical performance in Frankfurt (which was cancelled ... in 2019). The care and communication for our stay in Verona was excellent. I must inform you, however, that the second performance (Nabucco) was so poorly staged that it came very close to completely ruining our stay! Fortunately, the fantastic performance of La Traviata made it possible to recover from the immense disappointment of Nabucco martyred by a director as stupid as he was incompetent (King Nabucco having become an extermination camp commander in the 2nd World War !!!! An insult to Verdi, to the Jewish people, to history and to the entire operatic oeuvre! ) I don't understand how such idiots can go about sabotaging such beautiful works! In short, after a perfect Turandot and a sublime Traviata, I still have the bitter taste of this 'Nabuco', all that to tell you how shocked I was by the incompetence of this so-called 'director', and if I'm prepared to use Musique et Opéra again, I'd also really like to be sure that the staging is respectful and, if possible, a little in love with opera! Finally, the hotel Milano&Spa was just EXCELLENT! Ditto for the guided tour!!!"
