The Lucerne Festival, founded in 1938 by the legendary conductor Arturo Toscanini, is recognized today as one of the most prestigious in classical music. The Festival's programming dares to include a series of major events, such as this one, featuring three legendary orchestras. The Gewandhausorchester Leipzig conducted by Andris Nelsons competes with the Wiener Philharmoniker and Christian Thielemann, while the breathtaking Klaus Mäkelä will be in Lucerne with the Orchestre de Paris.  Lisa Batiashvili and Daniil Trifonov are the dream soloists accompanying them in these dream concerts.
