Cyrille Dubois

Considered today as one of the best French tenors of his generation, Cyrille Dubois is an artist insatiable in discovering new repertoire. The ductility of his timbre, his mastery of nuances and his infinite musicality allow him to cover a wide spectrum of the lyrical repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, including the classical period or French comic operas.

He discovered singing during his childhood in the special time classes of the Maîtrise de Caen. A few years later, he entered the CNSM in Paris as a tenor, then joined the prestigious Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera, which gave him his first opportunities to perform on stage.

This was followed by engagements on numerous opera stages in France and Europe: Scala in Milan (The Tales of Hoffmann), Monnaie in Brussels (La Dispute), Opéra Zürich (Hyppolite et Aricie), Opéra de Liège (Les Pêcheurs de Perles), Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (Mitridate, The Barber of Seville, Point d’Orgue…), the Paris Opera (The Magic Flute, Cosi fan Tutte…
