For the 25/26 season, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées welcomes a new artistic director, Baptiste Charroing!
For the occasion, the program opens in majesty with Le Sacre du Printemps in the legendary choreography of Pina Bausch and a show about Joséphine Baker, paying tribute to the great hours of the legendary venue on Avenue Montaigne.
On the opera side, there are a host of must-see events, including La Damnation de Faust, performed by the great Benjamin Bernheim, and Offenbach's rare Robinson Crusoe, brought to life by the brilliant duo of Marc Minkowski and Laurent Pelly, reunited for the occasion.
As for dance, don't miss choreographer Angelin Preljocaj's new take on Swan Lake, a classic sublimated by a contemporary vision of Tchaikovsky's ballet!
