Teatro Regio di Torino, located in the splendid setting of Piazza Castello, is a true highlight of the Italian and international opera scene.

Its history, rich with charm and prestige, makes it a magical place where tradition and innovation are in perfect harmony. Today, it stands as a thoroughly modern theater—an architectural gem that inspires with its avant-garde design, elegance, and forward-looking spirit. It's a venue that welcomes spectators and offers them a superior experience in comfort and acoustics. Within its magnificent, shell-shaped hall, operas, concerts, and ballets come to life alongside cultural events.

Its origins date back to 1740, an era when the building served as the premier venue for the performances of the Savoy court. To this day, its 18th-century facade, a true masterpiece of Baroque architecture, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Throughout periods of Napoleonic rule, wars of independence, and national unification, the theater's operatic and symphonic activity never ceased.

It enjoyed a golden age with the presence of Arturo Toscanini and hosted the world premieres of Giacomo Puccini's great masterpieces: Manon Lescaut and La bohème.
