What are the must-see shows at the Théâtre du Châtelet this season?
Having competed for many years with the largest venues in Paris (Opera Bastille and Garnier in mind), the Théâtre du Châtelet has undergone a revolution under the leadership of its new director to gradually abandon the opera performances and move towards a more diversified offer.
The gamble paid off because within a decade, the Parisian venue has become the place where one can see the best of international musicals mixed with the the ´Etés de la Danse´ festival (Summers of Dance) performances or pop or avant-garde.
