The 2026/27 season of the Teatro de la Zarzuela will celebrate the venue’s 170th anniversary with a programme combining major repertoire successes, new productions, and a significant international co-production. Alongside lyric theatre, the season will feature concerts, tribute events, contemporary music projects, and initiatives designed to introduce zarzuela to new audiences.

Dance will also play a prominent role, reinforcing a diverse, innovative season open to all generations.
