What are the must-see performances at Ghent Opera this season?

The Ghent Opera House is a beautiful theatre dating from 1840 and is located in the historical centre. There are three halls (Foyer, Redoute Hall and Lully Hall) which form an impressive 90-metre long enfilade and the splendid horseshoe-shaped auditorium has excellent technical facilities.

Together with the Antwerp Opera House, the Ghent Opera House is now part of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen institution. It has retained its authentic character and is a well-preserved and characteristic example of a 'French' theatre from the first half of the 19th century.
