Orange from 04/07 to 06/07 : Grand Traviata

Orange, the charming town in the Vaucluse, is indeed the City of Princes, hosting the world's greatest artists at the Chorégies. The Festival, which can claim to be the oldest in France (and certainly in the world), always creates a stir in the summer festival scene!  Attending a performance at the Chorégies d'Orange is a must in the life of any music lover. The perfect acoustics, the concentration of the audience and the quality of the productions all combine to make it an unforgettable experience.  

2026 will be a wonderful year for Verdi, with the absolute masterpiece La Traviata entrusted to Jessica Pratt, a stunning artist and one of the most beautiful Violetas today. In a semi-staged version and thanks to the magic of projections on the walls of the ancient theatre, a breathtaking natural setting, the magic of the voices also works with her partners, the valiant tenor Javier Camarena and the splendid Ludovic Tézier. This essential operatic experience is also a gourmet delight, with a superb gastronomic dinner also on the programme.
