Impossible loves, jealousies, and heroic impulses echo one another in some of the most moving pages of the repertoire. From Donizetti and Bellini to Mascagni, Puccini, and Verdi, the program brings to life the voices of bel canto and lyric drama, from Lucia di Lammermoor to La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, and Turandot.
