Don't miss this incredible performance by the Helios Gospel Choir, directed by Dominique Magloire, in the prestigious churches of Saint-Germain des Prés and Madeleine.
Program: "Oh Happy Day", Amazing Grace, "Oh When the Saints" ...
As a child, Dominique Magloire discovered music by joining gospel choirs. Passionate about singing, she took part in several musicals: "Gone with the Wind", "Cleopatra", "The Twist Years"... She forged a national and international reputation thanks to her involvement in various productions: Gospel pour 100 Voix, Gospel sur la Colline... Following this, she decided to continue exploring other forms of vocal art.
She studied opera singing at the Conservatoire, where she learned to master her lirico-spinto soprano voice, winning a 1st prize in singing as well as a 1st prize in chamber music. Since then, she has performed the greatest works of classical music: Verdi's Traviata, Mozart's Requiem, Gerswin's Porgy and Bess, Offenbach's La Créole de Tulipatan, and the role of Dido in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas.
In 2012, Dominique Magloire became the great revelation of the Voice on TF1, performing : Ma Gueule de Johnny and Goldeneyes. This challenge enabled her to sing in front of 7 million viewers and to take part in the tour.
In 2015, Dominique Magloire performed on the Folies Bergère stage in the musical comedy Gospel sur la Colline by Benjamin Faleynas. In 2019, she takes part in the Together show hosted by Éric Antoine and Garou. She also stars in Ménopause, the musical written and directed by Alex Goude.
In 2021, Dominique Magloire takes part in the All Stars season of The Voice to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.
Building on her experience, she is now artistic director of "Gospel Hélios", an ensemble dedicated to promoting Gospel music in the Parisian churches.
