Riccardo Frizza

Riccardo Frizza is one of the greatest conductors of Italian opera repertoire as well as Romantic bel-canto. Recent engagements include Bellini´s Norma at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Verdi's Rigoletto at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona or Donizetti´s Lucia di Lammermoor at  Teatro la Fenice of Venice. 

The maestro is a frequent guest of opera houses such as the New York Metropolitan, La Scala in Milan, La Fenice in Venice, the Opéra National in Paris, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich as well as the Rossini Opera Festival, Riccardo Frizza also has an impressive symphonic career under his belt, having conducted some of the most prestigious orchestras in Europe and the Americas.
