Dear Readers,
First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank you for your loyalty to the Music & Opera Guide Around the World, which we have had the pleasure of publishing and developing alongside you for nearly 30 years.
After careful consideration, taking into account both the rising costs of printing and distribution, as well as changing reading habits, we have made the decision to discontinue the publication of our Guide. The 2025–2026 edition was the final issue.
This carefully considered decision reflects our commitment to focusing our efforts on the development of our core activities:
- Our website, dedicated to ticketing services and the promotion of musical institutions and classical performances.
- Our music travel programmes, designed around the highlights of the opera and classical music season.
- Our live performance production activities through www.opera-palazzo.com, offering opera performances in exceptional venues.
- The Music & Opera Club is now available with a new membership package, including access to Medici.tv and Qobuz, while continuing to offer preferential rates on performances.
For nearly three decades, the Music & Opera Guide has been a valued companion for both you and us. This decision has therefore not been taken lightly.
You will continue to find a wide selection of opera and classical music seasons on our website.
