Three evenings, three worlds and three different ways of experiencing opera come together in an immersion at the heart of emotion, from Romantic intimacy to the brilliance of the Baroque.
The journey opens with Massenet’s Werther, in Robert Carsen’s new production, conducted by Nathalie Stutzmann and featuring Léo Vermot-Desroches and Aigul Akhmetshina. The following evening, Handel’s Rinaldo casts its spell under the baton of Philippe Jaroussky, with Carlo Vistoli, Regula Mühlemann and Karine Deshayes leading Valentina Carrasco’s new production. Finally, Verdi’s La Traviata unfolds in the intimate atmosphere of the Musée Jacquemart-André, bringing audiences closer than ever to the singers. This immersive experience brings together music, historic surroundings and emotion, erasing the distance between performers and audience.
