Hélène Grimaud opens the journey with the final sonatas of Beethoven and Schubert, two masterpieces of the repertoire entrusted to her intense and deeply expressive artistry. The following evening, the centenary of Régine Crespin’s birth is celebrated with an exceptional gala honouring one of France’s greatest voices and a leading figure in both the French and Wagnerian repertoire. Finally, Versailles welcomes Ballet Preljocaj and its bold reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, performed in the sumptuous setting of the Royal Opera House.
