Musical trip from Friday, December 29th 2017 to Monday, January 1st 2018, 3 nights,
organised by our partner Euridice Opéra
As all classical and opera lovers already know, Berlin is one of the biggest capitals in the world. All year round there are plenty of opportunities to go to Germany but winter is undoubtedly one of the best seasons to enjoy the ever-changing cultural life and quality of life. And the new year's celebrations in Berlin are the perfect opportunity for unforgettable events.
This tour is tailor-made for a perfect discovery of the great halls of classical music. The Deutsche Oper is the Opera of West Berlin with the symbolic architecture of the years around the reconstruction. La Bohème is ideally programmed in the magnificent staging of Götz Friedrich.
Another legendary hall, the famous Philharmonie is also hosting its New Year concert with its prestigious orchestra, the Berliner Philharmoniker. This year, Simon Rattle says goodbye to his formation with a beautiful enthusiasm, also displayed by the superb Joyce Di Donato in works of Bernstein, Stravinsky or Richard Strauss ... The big event of the season is evidently the reopening of the Staatsoper on the Unter den Linden avenue. In complete renovation since 2010, the hall recuperates its orchestra and its leader who no longer needs presentation. Daniel Barenboim is the conductor of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with well-known interpreters.
The new year 2018 will be in Berlin!
