This summer, in Aveyron, the Sylvanès Abbey Festival will take the public on a unique intercultural journey for a month and a half, discovering music from here and elsewhere, secular and sacred, performed by internationally renowned artists and groups!

This 46th edition will be punctuated by about twenty concerts, given under the Romanesque vault of the abbey church but also outside the walls, from Millau to Combret-sur-Rance. It will feature the essential works of the sacred music repertoire (Vivaldi's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Requiem, Allegri's Miserere, Donizetti's Requiem...), contemporary creations (Christopher Gibert's Magnificat, the shows "Carmen Flamenco" and "The Emidy Project") and will extend to the great musical traditions of the whole world: Mongolian diphonic singing, gospel & spirituals, gypsy tunes and gypsy swing, tango...
