Highlights of the stay

  • Der Rosenkavalier at Wiener Staatsoper
  • Private tour of Vienna
  • 3 nights in the Hotel of your choice
  • Your personal M&O assistant 24 hours a day

In the year of J. Strauss II, travellers have every reason to visit Vienna. An incredible wealth of culture and, above all, an exceptionally relaxed way of life. For music lovers, the Austrian capital is an obvious choice when it comes to classical music. The Wiener Staatsoper is the temple of opera, where one great event follows another.

Some of its productions, such as those by the legendary Otto Schenk, have gone down in history. The refinement and beauty of its classical productions are a must-see at least once in every music-lover's life, and a must-see again and again! Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier (The Knight of the Rose) is undoubtedly his masterpiece and one of his most emblematic productions. After the death of the master (on 9 January this year), the perfect cast offered by the Wiener Staatsoper is a tribute to the excellence of his work. The sublime Krassimira Stoyanova has made the role of the Feldmarschallin her own, while Sabine Devieilhe is a dream Sophie opposite Emily D'Angelo's androgynous Octavian and the truculent Günther Groissböck as Baron Ochs. Adam Fischer's direction, always attentive to his vocal ensemble, is a real asset to this legendary evening!

And since 2025 is the year of Johann Strauss II, a unique visit to Vienna is also on the programme to round off this fabulous evening.
