Founded in 1979, the Festival Berlioz is a major event in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (40-minute drive from Grenoble). Its national and international renown makes it one of the most important events of the classical music festival season, particularly for symphonic music.

The programme for this trip to the heights of classical music includes a series of grand evenings of romantic passion and orchestral power in the impressive courtyard of the Château Louis XI in La Côte-Saint-André. Renaud Capuçon at the helm of the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne strikes a blow with Beethoven's famous 5th symphony. The great violinist will also shine in Schumann's Concerto. The following day, Bizet will be in the spotlight in this year of celebrations, with excerpts from Carmen sung by the lively Eleonore Pancrazi and Kevin Amiel. Also on the programme, Stéphanie-Marie Degand conducts Berlioz's absolute masterpiece, the sublime Nuits d'été. For music lovers, a choral concert featuring Berlioz's melodies is available as an optional extra at the church.

During this all-inclusive package, M&O's privileged travellers will be able to take advantage of various visits to the land of Hector Berlioz. A truly enchanting experience!
