The International Festival of Lyric Art in Aix-en-Provence is a real open-air festival and one of the major highlights of the international season, especially in 2023, the year of its 75th anniversary!
With the best and the most exceptional of the 2023 Festival d'Aix, this trip is specially designed for great music lovers who will find their stars at the top of the bill. Also featured in a Schumann recital, the immense baritone Christian Gerhaher plays the role of Wozzeck (with Sir Simon Rattle conducting and Simon McBurney directing), while Anita Rachvelisvili and John Osborn form the stunning line-up for Meyerbeer's grand opera The Prophet. With a Bruckner concert by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Simon Rattle, the other highlight of the trip is Verdi's Otello with a dream cast: Jonas Kaufmann, Maria Agresta and Ludovic Tézier!
