Berlin historic center

Discover the complex history of Berlin in the company of an English-speaking guide who will take you to the historic center of the German capital. You will cross the centuries by approaching the Prussian era, the Second World War, the communist past and reunification. You will understand how the modern city has been shaped by its history. From Hackescher Markt, former Jewish quarter. Museums, a cathedral and a castle and Places and times

A city with a unique aesthetic, Berlin has an extremely heterogeneous architecture. The Potsdamer Platz district, completely razed during the war and divided by the Wall until 1989, was the most important reconstruction site after Reunification. Its ambitious constructions and its particular organization condense the main principles of urban planning at the end of the 20th century. In Berlin, architecture is also at the service of the duty of memory. From the outskirts of Tiergarten to the Reichstag, your guide will introduce you to these architectural places that bear witness to history.
Duration: 3 hours Walking tour

Unusual Berlin

Discover how the former no-man's land created by the Berlin Wall has evolved since 1989: alternative living spaces, beach bars, green urbanism, abandoned factory, street art...
During this walk in the company of a French-speaking guide, you will observe the heterogeneous architecture of the city, discover festive, cultural and artistic spaces on the banks of the Spree. We will tell you about Berlin today and tell you the little stories that illustrate the great historical events of the past decades.
