The Festival International d'Art Lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence is a veritable open-air extravaganza, one of the highlights of the international season.

Sir Simon Rattle returns to the Grand Théâtre de Provence to conduct Don Giovanni, played by the sublime Andrè Schuen and a cast worthy of one of the world's greatest opera festivals! The Théâtre de l'Archevêché welcomes the sensitive Louise, a masterpiece by Gustave Charpentier, played by Elsa Dreisig (a major role for the soprano), while Cavalli's La Calisto conducted by the admirable Sébastien Daucé is sure to make festival-goers laugh.
The cultural part of the trip is enhanced by a guided tour of the international exhibition ‘Cezanne au Jas de Bouffan’ at the Musée Granet and another highlight: a private guide will take you on a discovery tour of magnificent Aix, with a choice of one of the following themes: ‘The streets tell their own story’, “Squares & Fountains”, “The jewels of Aix”, “Aix-en-Résistance”, “Aix-en-Archéologie” or “Aix & Cézanne”.
