Every January, Salzburg transforms into a veritable musical cauldron to celebrate its most illustrious composer. Under the artistic direction of the dashing Rolando Villazón, the famous Mozartwoche (Mozart Week) is an unmissable event for music lovers from all over the world, offering an exceptional program dedicated to the work of the genius. Immerse yourself in the magic of his music and other composers such as Bach or Handel with a series of exceptional concerts:

At the head of the Collegium Vocale Gent, the immense specialist and interpretation legend Philippe Herreweghe conducts Bach cantatas. An exceptional violinist, Lisa Batiashvili plays with the Camerata Salzburg conducted by the no less fantastic oboist François Leleux. The other highlight of this trip is the concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker, the most beautiful orchestra in the world, accompanying superstar soprano Sonya Yoncheva. To round off this series in style, Mitsuko Uchida conducts the Mahler Chamber Orchestra from her piano and plays W. A. ​​Mozart’s Piano Concertos No. 18 and No. 21.
