At Covent Garden ten years later, Franco Leoni created “L'oracolo” his most famous opera. The two verismo works are complete rediscoveries. Saverio Mercadante suffers from the compari-son with Verdi who took all the light. It is time present these operas as in Wexford with “Il bravo”, a story of a murder!
