Voyage à Vienne

Trip to Vienna from Monday May 27th to Friday 31st 2019, 4 nights,

organised by our partner Euridice Opéra

Vienna is a fascinating city thanks to its rich cultural past and present and above all, thanks to an unequaled quality of life. In the many cafés, you can taste the famous coffee accompanied by the Vienna specialty, the Sachertorte accompanied by fresh cream. Vienna is one of the most vibrant capitals of classical music, offering a wealth of high quality events each season.

The program of the Staatsoper allows to see on stage the greatest performers today, as during this very beautiful weekend of Ascension. The exceptional superstar Anna Netrebko at the peak of her vocal means, performs Andrea Chénier. The staging of Otto Schenk is a model. Another event, Richard Strauss's masterpiece Die Frau ohne Schatten is directed by Christian Thielemann and brings together an incredible cast with Camilla Nylund, Nina Stemme, Evelyn Herlitzius, Stephen Gould and Wolfgang Koch. This trip allows to judge the vivacity of the Austrian scene with Dantons Tod, the new opera of the famous composer Gottfried von Einem. A concert at the Konzerthaus with Daniel Harding, Albina Shagimuratova, Andrew Staples and Christian Gerhaher crowns this weekend not to be missed!
