All lovers of classical music and opera already know that Berlin is one of the greatest capitals in the world. There are many opportunities to visit Germany all year round, but spring is particularly good for enjoying the ever-intense cultural life, especially during the Festtage, the Festival days when a major event is expected!
This 2024 season is particularly flamboyant with performances of Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen. Four operas served by the expert musical direction of Philippe Jordan and by Dmitri Tcherniakov for the staging. The great voices are in Berlin with first of all the immense Andreas Schager in Siegfried and the incomparable Wagnerians Anja Kampe (Brünnhilde) and Tomasz Konieczny (Wotan). In the cast, Staatsoper Berlin requires, we find the illustrious names of René Pape, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Claudia Mahnke and even Rolando Villazón... The unmissable event of the season!
