As all classical music and opera fans know, Berlin is one of the world's great capital cities. There are plenty of opportunities to visit Germany all year round, but spring is a particularly good time to enjoy the cultural life, which is as intense as ever, especially during the Festtage, the festival days when major events are expected!
This 2025 season, the Festtage are particularly flamboyant with unique performances. Violin legend Anne-Sophie Mutter performs Berg's spellbinding Concerto in Memory of an Angel at the Philharmonie, while the Staatsoper Unter den Linden hosts two eagerly awaited operas. Philippe Jordan conducts Parsifal with the incredible Elina Garanca, Andreas Schager and René Pape. The marvellous Rachel Willis-Sørensen plays Norma with Dmitry Korchak, in the absolute masterpiece of belcanto. There will be plenty of suspended moments and plenty of emotion!
To make your stay even more enjoyable, a guided tour of Berlin is included, with a choice of the following themes: Berlin Historic Centre, Berlin Wall, Architecture, Berlin Unusual and Berlin Street Art.
