As all classical music and opera fans know, Berlin is one of the world's great capital cities. There are plenty of opportunities to visit Germany all year round, but spring is a particularly good time to enjoy the cultural life, which is as intense as ever, especially during the Festtage, the festival days when major events are expected!
This 2026 season, the Festtage are particularly flamboyant, with unique performances. The impressive conductor Christian Thielemann, the new Artistic Director, will be conducting Richard Strauss's absolute masterpiece The Knight of the Rose, as well as Brahms's powerful and moving Deutsches Requiem, with some marvellous voices, appropriate for each repertoire (the sublime Nikola Hillebrand, Julia Kleiter, Samuel Hasselhorn...). Music lovers will have their eyes on Anna Netrebko, Charles Castronovo and Ludovic Tézier, the prestigious line-up for Verdi's Ballo in maschera, and we can't blame them! A festival not to be missed!
To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, a guided tour of Berlin is included, with a choice of the following themes: Berlin Historic Centre, Berlin Wall, Architecture, Berlin Unusual and Berlin Street Art.

A city with a unique aesthetic, Berlin has an extremely heterogeneous architecture. Its ambitious constructions and its particular organization condense the main principles of urban planning at the end of the 20th century. In Berlin, architecture is also at the service of the duty of memory. From the outskirts of Tiergarten to the Reichstag, your guide will introduce you to these architectural places that bear witness to history.
