Rome, one of the world's most beautiful cities, can be visited again and again, and particularly on the theme of classical music. The Teatro dell'Opera hosts productions that have become unmissable, and the Parco della musica, a superb concert hall designed by Renzo Piano, offers great concerts.
This season, Tosca causes a sensation not at Castel Sant'Angelo but on the Opera stage, as it is interpreted by the powerful Anna Pirozzi. The great artist is partnered by the proud tenor Luciano Ganci for a memorable evening. Also on the program for this beautiful May holiday, the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia conducted by the excellent Daniele Gatti pays tribute to Brahms and above all Bruckner with the majestic Symphony No. 9.

And about the gladiators, you will have surprises! From the top of the Colosseum you will also discover the astonishing basement, which no one supposed existed until the 20th century.
Then we will climb to the Palatine, the hill where Romulus founded the city twenty-eight centuries ago. There, immersed in a Renaissance garden, we will see the remains of the Imperial Palace and the Circus Maximus, a hippodrome for 250,000 people. We will end the visit with the great monumental square of ancient Rome: the Roman Forum.
Triumphal arches to evoke the great emperors, temples where the strange fate of the Vestal Virgins took place, the death of Caesar, the destruction carried out not by the barbarians but by the Christians... A whole world will reappear from this visit, a world which forms the basis of ours today.
