Great events not to be missed at New York’s Carnegie Hall this January 2019. At first, superb French soprano Sabine Devieilhe performs her first song recital in a Debussy, Delage, Poulenc, Ravel, and Roussel programme (on January 17, 2019 at Weill Recital Hall). Then, great pianists will be on stage such as young artist Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015 (on January 22, 2019 at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage) or amamzing pianist Leif Ove Andsnes to perform Schumann, Janácek and Bartók (on January 24, 2019 also at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage). To end January with beauty, Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orlinski joined by members of New York Baroque performs early music (on January 31, 2019 at Weill Recital Hall).
